ABOUT THE COMIC

-Synopsis
A ronin named Ryu spends his days wandering around cities and living his noncommital life. But when a little street girl named Nata starts following him around, he discovers that now he's got a little too much to do!

-Notes
Good Morning Kyoto is on its third incarnation, after being re-started twice. The first edition is terrible and not for human eyes! The second go was a little better, but the comic was re-started because the story was not what I wanted it to be, and it was also some mutilated 'historical fiction' with many liberties. I realized I was biting off more than I could chew.
This latest and final re-start starts right after the second edition cut off, but if you haven't read it, don't worry! You didn't miss anything. In fact I did this on purpose.

I happen to think that samurai are really rad, so I made a comic about them. However, this comic is not a historical fiction piece whatsoever. It's not in Kyoto. It's a long time ago in some world far, far away.
It's also not all action. I happen to think that the human condition is more interesting than mindless brawling. Though there's some of that, too.
In short it's about some people, their relationships, and surviving in a unwelcome, violent world.

I've been working on the comic on and off for a really long time, and the older pages are bad art wise and have cheesy dialogue in parts. I hope you'll give it a chance anyway, as it's a work in progress!

Please feel free to email me about it with any feedback at za . rodinu at gmail dot com. :)
